According to new figures, Apex Legends is doing remarkably well. It has not only beaten Fortnite on Twitch, but is even more successful than Fortnite was at the same time after its release.
The latest player numbers show that Apex Legends is growing faster than Fortnite. Over 50 million players are now playing the new Battle Royale hit. Apex Legends has obviously struck a chord.
The community is not only playing but also actively discussing the game. There is a whole meme culture around the worst weapon in Apex Legends. Fans are also sharing more and more information about the game:
- some players figured out how to manually select servers
- others dug up an almost year-old thread showing Apex Legends as a lame leak to Titanfall
- more and more leaks and creations about new heroes and content are circulating
Furthermore, the first Battle Pass together with the first season is set to release soon. According to new rumors, mid-March is targeted for the first Battle Pass. This should give Apex Legends an additional boost in popularity.
