In Apex Legends there is currently a bug that unfairly gives a team the victory and leaves all others looking foolish. However, the developers are already on it.
What does the bug do? In some rounds of Apex Legends, there are reports on Reddit of a serious error. One of the 20 teams gets stuck in the plane and cannot jump out.
They are now doomed with their heroes to watch the rest of the round. However, they are also invulnerable and untouchable in the plane.
The game continues regularly with 19 teams. In the end, one squad remains. However, unfortunately, since the three players are still in the plane, the game is not won.
The actual winners end up looking dumb and eventually burn in the death zone, which inevitably closes in on them and kills them.
The victory then goes to the three players who are still stuck in the dropship.
This is why the bug is bad for every player: It is an incredibly frustrating matter. After all, victories in battle royale games are anything but easy to achieve, and anyone who ends up as the last team standing and still doesn’t win is likely to be fed up with the game for a while.
The “lucky” players in the team that wins by waiting are unlikely to have much joy either, watching for almost 30 minutes until they get an undeserved victory.
Developers are working on a solution
Fortunately, the developers at Respawn Entertainment are also active on Reddit and have already noticed the bug. A member of the development team has therefore already asked for more details and information about the problem in the relevant Reddit thread.
So they are presumably already working on a solution. Unfortunately, it has not yet been announced what this looks like or when this terrible bug will be fixed.
So all we can do is hope that the developers find a solution quickly before the bug occurs too often and permanently drives away players.
