EA presented a new gameplay trailer for the online shooter Anthem at E3 2018. The combat system and the special exosuits “Javelin” are introduced.
What did the trailer show? The trailer shows more about the world of Anthem. The people built a great wall that protects their civilization from the outside world. Here are large monsters, and only “Freelancers” can venture outside the wall. In the trailer, we see some features of the exosuits that you fight in as a Freelancer: The Javelin. With the suits, Freelancers can fly, dive, and use various attacks.

Anthem has at least 4 different classes
Javelin exosuits have different “classes”: There will be at least 4 different Javelins. For example, there is a “Colossus,” which specializes in close combat. The “Ranger” stays more at a distance and seems to be quicker. Also included: Storm and Interceptor.
When is Anthem coming? The release date for Anthem is February 22, 2019. It is scheduled to be released simultaneously for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. This has been confirmed by Electronic Arts.
What is Anthem? The online shooter from Electronic Arts is supposed to be similar to Destiny, but it is played in third-person. You play either alone or with up to three other players in a large, vibrant open world. Here, you are on the move as a “Freelancer” and protect humanity from a hostile environment. The focus is meant to be on cooperative play.
