The alpha of Anthem is set to start soon. Recommended system requirements for the PC have now been revealed. This is likely what your PC needs to be able to do. Additionally, we will see a new trailer on the night of Friday.
This coming weekend, around December 8th and 9th, a closed alpha for the shared-world shooter Anthem will start. Until recently, it was possible to register for participation.

Recommended system requirements for the PC have now emerged. We summarize how these requirements look and what your PC needs to be able to do.
System requirements for the Anthem alpha
Your PC must meet these specs: A fan has published a screenshot from the PC registration for the alpha on Reddit. Here are the shown specs:
- Operating system: 64-bit Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics card: NVIDIA GTX 970 4GB, AMD R9 390 8GB
- Hard drive: At least 60 GB of free space
Are these the minimum requirements? No official information is available on this. Fans speculate on Reddit. They think: This is not about the minimum requirements, but the recommended settings.
How well the alpha will run is still up in the air. So far, there have been some streams that ran better at times and worse at others.
In the last stream, we got a glimpse of the place where the players will reside. Other alpha streams showed, how you can customize Javelins and how the Storm and Interceptor Javelins fight in combat.
Are these specs a hint at the final requirements? It is too early to say. Currently, Anthem is in alpha status. Much or little could change before the release on February 22.
At least it is a rough indication of the areas in which Anthem operates.

How to participate in the alpha? Until recently, there was still a registration for the different phases of the anthem alpha on the EA playtesting site. The registration was ended on the evening of December 3rd.
Those who are late have to wait for the next opportunity.
