A new trailer for Anthem showcases the graphical splendor of the upcoming coop-shooter and reveals new areas and enemy types.
Anthem has unexpectedly received a new trailer. It showcases the graphical splendor of the upcoming game as well as some new character models and environments that have not been seen before.
What happened? At Nvidia’s press conference at CES 2019, a new trailer for Anthem was released. The trailer is essentially an “advertisement” for a new Nvidia graphics card (RTX 2060), which will be available for purchase in a bundle with Anthem. The card has already been introduced in more detail:
The exciting part of the presentation is the footage from Anthem in stunning 4K.
This is what to see: In addition to beautiful landscapes with high-resolution textures, the trailer also gives a glimpse of some enemy types that have been rarely seen before. For instance, there are larger battle robots as well as dangerous wildlife that apparently have been equipped with too many eyes.
The diverse environments are impressive, such as dark caves or large mechanical constructs that are deployed for a mechanism, but certainly, they are.
Visually, Anthem definitely makes a strong impression and is likely to cause some older PCs to heat up. Whether Anthem can also hold its own in gameplay will be known in a few days, as you will then be able to dive into a preview demo.
What is your opinion on the graphics of Anthem? Will your “machine” even be able to run the game? Or will you play it on PS4 and Xbox One?
