The Javelin suits in Anthem, known as Javelins, receive different cosmetics. The developers at BioWare are gradually revealing more and more visual customizations. Among them seems to be a collection of N7 skins from Mass Effect.
New cosmetics introduced: On Twitter, producer Mike Gamble showed a special skin for the Interceptor. This is one of the four Javelin suits that you can play in Anthem right after launch. The shown skin is a special one from the Mass Effect universe and is named N7.
Five months ago, the developers showed another N7 skin, which, however, was worn by the Ranger Javelin. From this, we can conclude that a complete N7 collection for all Javelins may be expected.
What the N7 skins mean: N7 is a classification in Mass Effect’s Systems Alliance military. The N stands for a special unit and the 7 is the highest rank one can achieve in this unit.
On November 7th, BioWare celebrates N7 Day with fans, during which the studio presents new fan items in its shop. Similarly, fan artworks related to N7 are also shared. In this context, the producer also shared a picture of the N7 Interceptor on November 7th.
All cosmetics can be earned in Anthem
How to get the N7 skins? We don’t know the details yet. However, BioWare has already confirmed that all cosmetic items can be earned through gameplay. It is still unknown whether they will appear as loot drops or be earned through specific challenges.
Cosmetics can also become colorful: In a recent gameplay stream by the developers, cosmetics for the Javelin Storm were shown. This clearly demonstrated that it can also be colorful and vibrant on the battlefield in Anthem.
The Storm wore a yellow and black checkered cape here:
