More and more players are reporting that the strongholds in Anthem are disappearing for them. Players have already found a way to work around this bug.
What kind of bug is this? On Reddit and also in our comments on MeinMMO, some players are reporting that they can no longer select any strongholds in Anthem. The Strongholds are simply disappearing from the world map.
The bug apparently first occurred last weekend. On the night from Friday to Saturday, players pointed out that the Freeplay was suddenly completely empty and there were problems with the strongholds. BioWare subsequently rolled out a fix to address this issue.
What about the strongholds? The fix has apparently resolved the issues with Freeplay, but the strongholds still seem to be acting up. Players report that only one or two strongholds are missing, while other freelancers cannot select any of the three strongholds at all.
Other players state that their strongholds are completely empty or they are simply kicked out after entering the instances. Some players are also teleported as a four-player team right into an already started stronghold or find themselves standing in front of closed doors after completing phases, unable to finish the strongholds.
What can be done? So far, BioWare has not specifically commented on the problem. Players have developed their own way to at least work around the bug.
If you also do not see any strongholds in Anthem, try joining a friend who does not have this issue. Together you can now load into the dungeon, after which you should be able to see the strongholds again.
On Reddit, some players state that the bug was resolved for them in this way. However, for some others, the problem reappeared after a while.
