Anthem has released a new patch. This is meant to fix a problem that has been annoying players for some time.
New patch coming: A fresh patch is currently rolling out that is supposed to fix some bugs in Strongholds as well as the annoying “pulling” problem. The developers are still working on the issues with Quickplay that players have reported.
How big is the patch? The latest patch brings Anthem to game version 1.0.2.02 and is about 3.5 to 5.1 GB on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If you haven’t received the update yet, restart your console or wait until the update is available for you.

What’s in the patch? As with the update from February 23, the current patch notes are not really long either. Nevertheless, one detail is being fixed that players have been complaining about for a long time:
- The “pulling” timer for missions has been increased. Players should now have more time to meet with their squad before they see a countdown timer.
- The encounter with the final boss in the Stronghold “Mine of the Tyrant” can no longer be reset when the entire squad is in the main menu and then rejoins the ongoing session.
- Chests that have already been looted in Strongholds cannot be opened again.

The change to the loot system that was recently announced is not yet included in the patch. This is expected to be implemented in a further update on February 28 or March 1.
What is the problem with “pulling”? Players have long complained that the timer for “pulling” to their teammates is too short. Even if you were just a bit behind your other teammates, a message would pop up saying that you are too far from your squad or the mission objective.
In the Anthem Subreddit, players are glad that the time until pulling has now been extended. This would have disrupted the overlay if you only wanted to quickly pick something up or were briefly in the menu.
What to expect in the next three months in Anthem, we have here for you:
