At E3 2018, a new gameplay trailer for Anthem was presented. Here, world events featuring large bosses were shown, giving you a deeper impression of the world.
What did the trailer show? In the trailer, a group of “Freelancers” is seen. There was again a focus on the flight capability of the exosuits, allowing players to move from A to B. There were more impressions of the gunplay and the PvE battles in the group. However, there wasn’t much new to see here.
When is Anthem coming out? The release date for Anthem is February 22, 2019. It is set to release simultaneously for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. This has been confirmed by Electronic Arts.
What is Anthem? The online shooter from Electronic Arts is said to be similar to Destiny, but is played in third-person. You play either alone or with up to three other players in a large, lively open world. Here, you are out as a “Freelancer” protecting humanity from a hostile environment. The focus is meant to be on cooperative play.
