In Anthem, there are three factions where you can increase your reputation through various actions. This way, you will rise in loyalty with the factions and unlock the challenge Champion of Tarsis.
These are the three factions: In Anthem, you will encounter the different factions early on. During the campaign, you will complete quests for the Freelancers, Sentinels, or Arcanists. Some of the tasks even belong to the “Critical Path”, the story of Anthem.
The contacts for each faction are:
- Matthias for the Arcanists
- Brin for the Sentinels
- Yarrow for the Freelancers
This is how leveling works: In addition to the main quests, you will repeatedly receive tasks from the three factions that provide various rewards and increase your loyalty level with them.
The factions each have three levels, granting you various bonuses. If you manage to raise all three factions to loyalty level 3, you unlock the challenge Champion of Tarsis.
- Loyalty level 1 requires 500 points
- Loyalty level 2 requires 1500 points
- Loyalty level 3 requires 3000 points
Once you have completed the Anthem campaign, reached Level 30 with your Pilot, and completed enough missions for the factions, you will unlock Legendary Contracts. These are part of the endgame and offer a higher chance for powerful gear.
These are the rewards: The factions reward you with various blueprints and cosmetic materials for the appearance of your Javelin as you level up.
- The Arcanists provide blueprints for consumables and cosmetic metals for your Javelin
- The Sentinels provide blueprints for components and cosmetic metals for your Javelin
- The Freelancers provide blueprints for universal components and various loadouts for your Javelin
The rewards you receive for the respective levels, or have already received, can be viewed in the game menu under “Challenges” and “Factions”.
Unlock Champion of Tarsis
This is the challenge: If you manage to accumulate 3000 loyalty points for each faction and therefore raise the groups to level 3, you unlock the challenge “Champion of Tarsis”.
To complete this challenge, you need to reach 50,000 reputation for each faction. In total, you have to earn 150,000 loyalty points.
As a reward, you will receive several blueprints in Masterwork quality, the cosmetic metal Gold for your Javelin, and 2000 coins for the Anthem cash shop.

These activities earn you loyalty
In Anthem, you can perform various actions that earn you loyalty points with the three factions. Alongside quests and tasks, these are activities you can complete while playing.
Missions and Quests
Completing quests or missions for a faction greatly increases your standing with them. Some quests are already available to you during the campaign.
You can also accept quests from the respective contacts. This will lead you through the storylines of the individual factions, which are necessary to unlock legendary contracts.
Legendary contracts give you the chance for higher-quality loot and additional reputation for the factions in the endgame.
