Today, Update 1.03 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One is coming for Anthem . The update includes numerous changes and improvements – and it should alleviate PS4 players’ fears about logging in. We take a look at the patch notes and translate them into English.
What kind of update is this? This is essentially the first “bug fixes and quality of life improvements” update for Anthem. It has the version number 1.0.3.
BioWare addresses many issues with Anthem in the patch that arose in the first days after release and are concerning players.
Initially, this update was supposed to be released on March 12, but BioWare has released it earlier, likely so that people can play over the weekend. Some were worried about even starting Anthem on PS4.
When will the patch come? The patch is coming today, March 9.
With the patch, one should expect downtime between 2 PM and 4 PM German time (7 AM – 9 AM Central Time).

- They are loosening the respawn restrictions: In the “non-endgame” missions, the timer is now set to 10 seconds. In strongholds, legendary missions, and other endgame activities, the timer is 30 seconds, and it remains the same in freeplay. Before, players had to wait idly until another player
