How long will this last? According to the developers, these details from Cataclysm will remain until the next content patch arrives. So you won’t be completely left without content, but will have something to do.
BioWare hinted at this indirectly: In their statement regarding the event, there is also a slight suggestion. They say that you should spend all your crystals, as these will have no value in the next event.
