It has been a while since the shared-world shooter Anthem has been somewhat quiet. Now, Bioware employees have announced new gameplay.
The hype around Anthem has stalled a bit. Since the last 20-minute gameplay from E3 2018, there has been no new material to see, and information has only been trickled out via Twitter.
Now, Bioware staff have announced a new gameplay livestream, which is set to arrive early November. The gameplay will likely come from the alpha version of Anthem.

First Anthem gameplay that is not from the E3 demo?
Will we see new gameplay? Mike Gamble, executive producer at Bioware, announced that he will grab a “random” build of Anthem to showcase gameplay.
So, Bioware might showcase the first unscripted gameplay. This is likely to be an early alpha version.
When and where will the stream take place? Originally, they planned to stream on Halloween. Now, Gamble has announced the live stream for November 1st. Irving will probably be seen in a Transformers costume. At least that’s what his colleague claims.
According to Irving, the stream will most likely be on Twitch. A specific time has not yet been announced.
Fans are excited for new gameplay
This is how the community reacts:
- Many praised Bioware’s open communication on Twitter
- However, the constant trickling of information could not satisfy fans’ curiosity for long
- Therefore, the gameplay announcement is very well received by fans
User chadorable writes on Reddit:
This is all I wanted. It doesn’t even have to be special gameplay […].
SirWilliamB suspects:
No other developer would just show a “random build”. They must be very confident in their game and the current version must be polished.

The stream is long overdue for many, hence the news is received very positively.
