The alpha test of Anthem is coming up. We will tell you when it starts and how long you can play.
In just a few hours, it will finally be time, and many players can get their hands on Anthem for the first time and dive into the new coop shooter from BioWare. Those who received an invitation to the alpha test can participate in four different game sessions that will take place over the upcoming weekend (December 8th and 9th).
The dates for the Anthem alpha on December 8th and 9th
When can you play? Those who received an invitation to the alpha test can play at the following times:
- Saturday, December 8th: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday, December 8th: 9:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Sunday, December 9th: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Sunday, December 9th: 9:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Who can play? Only those players who have previously signed up for the alpha and received an invitation can participate. This includes not only PC players but also console players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, those who wish to play from a PC and have been invited should ensure that their system meets the minimum system requirements.
Limited spots: BioWare points out that there is only a limited number of spots on the game servers. Those who arrive late may have to wait until a spot becomes available. Therefore, arriving early will likely be an important requirement.
There is a non-disclosure agreement: For streamers and all those who want to upload gameplay to YouTube or similar platforms, it is important to mention that there is an NDA (non-disclosure agreement). Content from the game may not be publicly displayed according to the “Closed Alpha Agreement”.
Are you among the chosen ones and allowed to check out Anthem this weekend? Are you still waiting in vain for a key? Or are you indifferent to the alpha and want to start only at release?
