- The MMORPG Broken Ranks is considered a hidden gem by many. Now the developers show what will come to the game in 2023. The story will continue and a new maximum level is planned.
- RuneScape is one of the most popular MMORPGs of all time. Now the title is getting a major graphical update, but it is not going smoothly.
- EVE Online announced the next big update “Uprising” for November. This is especially supposed to overhaul and enhance faction wars (via massivelyop.com).
The controversy of the week: As the next MMORPG in 2022, Elyon announces that it will shut down on December 7. The game was only released in October 2021. Until then, the planned content will continue to be released. Even the new class will still debut in September.
The discussion of the week: The servers in WoW Classic are too full. To counter the long queues, Blizzard is now closing some realms for new players. Possibly even permanently.

What happened to the major MMORPGs:
- Lost Ark was offline for a whole 21 hours on Tuesday. The cause was a critical error during the weekly update. At least Amazon is offering decent gifts as compensation.
- Tower of Fantasy will receive housing on September 15. The developers showcase this in a new video.
- In Elder Scrolls Online, the “Revelry of the Undaunted” event starts. Everything you need to know about it has been summarized for you.
- The new talent system in WoW could be really good, but the community could ruin it. At least that’s what our WoW demon Cortyn says.
What happened to the minor MMORPGs:
- The “Pokémon MMO” Temtem is now officially released. And right from the start with a battle pass, which has received harsh criticism from players.
- ArcheAge will receive a new PvPvE mode with the next update in September. This will happen as part of the “Festival,” which focuses on food (via massivelyop.com).
- Star Trek Online is bringing Wesley Crusher into the MMO. He will be played by fan-favorite Wil Wheaton (via mmorpg.com).

- The Korean MMORPG TS Project is announcing itself with a beautiful trailer, but there is a catch. It comes with Play2Earn and NFT integration.
