If you want to pursue your passion for fishing in WoW Classic, you have quite a problem. The seas are basically empty, and a bug is to blame.
In the meantime, some players have reached the maximum level in World of Warcraft Classic and are focusing on other activities. For instance, gold farming is taking place, as well as leveling up secondary professions such as fishing. However, this is currently stressful, as many bodies of water in Azeroth seem to be mercilessly bugged.
What’s the problem? Many players report that while fishing in higher-level areas (from Tanaris / Feralas) at the coasts, an annoying bug occurs. They cast the line but cannot catch any fish. The loot window opens only for a brief moment, but it is empty. In most cases, there is no loot in the form of fish. The situation is different with schools of fish. From there, it is usually still possible to catch some fish, thus obtaining at least a bit of loot.
