A YouTuber is known for mastering difficult content in Destiny 2 solo. Now he has attempted the new duo mission but had to resort to some tricks to complete it.

What kind of duo mission is it? Bungie has added a new type of mission to Destiny 2 with the launch of “Echos”, the first episode. Players can now undertake a mission called “Destiny Duel” in the Shattered Realm.
In the new mission, two players in a duo must solve different puzzles and engage in battles. It is not possible to start this mission alone, meaning without a partner. Thus, you as a solo player must inevitably look for a second Guardian.
Destiny Duel is also a necessary step if you want to unlock the new exotic class items.
One player, two accounts
How did the expert play the mission? Since Destiny Duel cannot be played solo, Esoterickk had to employ some tricks in his latest video. In a pinned comment under the video, the YouTuber explained that he played the mission on two devices simultaneously.
Throughout the mission, Esoterickk controlled two characters on two different accounts. He played his main character with mouse and keyboard, while using a controller for the second character.
Regarding the mission itself, Esoterickk states that the run wasn’t too difficult for him, but the preparation took a lot of time. After all, he had to finish the campaign with a second character and also build a decent build for that character.
Esoterickk also mentions that while playing, there were naturally certain “pauses” where one character was inactive because it isn’t physically possible to control both at the same time – only one after the other.
Overall, Destiny Duel is not a mission for solo players. This is also known to be the case for raids. Many players, therefore, specifically look for groups with which they can complete raids. So it is all the more frustrating when they are not rewarded for their efforts: Destiny 2: Player receives no loot for completing the new raid because his 6-year-old son makes a tragic decision.
