The Pokémon GO players in Berlin can look forward to a new event starting soon only in our capital. There you will get the chance for rare Shinys and additional bonuses. The event starts on May 6.
When does the event start? This event runs for just a few days from May 6 to May 8 and brings you several bonuses throughout Berlin.
It takes place in conjunction with re:puplica, a large conference about social media. This conference will be held at that time in Berlin.
Which Pokémon will be available? Throughout Berlin, Magnetilo and Bronzel will spawn more frequently during the event. These two Steel-type Pokémon are otherwise quite rare in the wild. Magnetilo can even be Shiny.

What bonuses are there? The YouTuber “Spieletrend” announces the bonuses that will be active during the event on his Twitter account. There will be Lure Modules that last for 4 hours and double Stardust.
Additionally, there will be special PokéStops at the re:puplica venue. So it’s worth stopping by there.
That’s why the spawns are worth it: Especially Magnetilo is an interesting spawn as it is quite rare outside of events. Its Shiny form is among the rarest in the game.
Why is Niantic hosting an event there? The developers of Pokémon GO will also be present at the re:puplica. Anne Beuttenmüller, a Niantic employee, will give a talk there about the professions behind Pokémon GO.
Is a trip worth it? Since the event is to take place throughout Berlin and there are quite strong bonuses, a trip for players could be worthwhile. Regardless of the re:puplica, you can spend an exciting day there with the bonuses.
This year, Niantic is already holding its second event in Berlin. Recently, there was such an event in Berlin around the ITB. However, there were only increased spawns of Teddiursa and Ursaring. The current spawns are much more interesting.
