The superhero series Invincible features an impressive cast as an animation project. Many legendary actors lend their voices to the heroes and villains. However, there is a particular actor from Breaking Bad that seems to be unattainable, despite regular attempts.
Which actor is it? The voice cast in the original version of Invincible is truly remarkable and ensures that the series is so popular and well-received. Many talented actors have voiced the beloved characters since the series started in 2021, including:
- J. K. Simmons as Omni-Man
- Seth Rogen as Allen the Alien
- Steven Yeun as Invincible
- Mark Hamill as Art Rosenbaum
However, there is a desired actor from Breaking Bad that the creators of the series have not been able to secure thus far, despite their claims of trying each season: They are eager to have Bryan Cranston.

They do not want to give up, even though Bryan Cranston constantly declines. In an exclusive interview with DiscussingFilm, Robert Kirkman, the creator of the comic series Invincible, spoke about Bryan Cranston and how they regularly attempt to get him on board:
Regarding the dream cast, we probably offer Bryan Cranston a role every season. It has become our tradition, and his tradition is to reject us. But we will come back to you, Bryan, and we will see what happens next time. Fingers crossed! Bryan Cranston is literally the only actor who has turned us down.

Considering that Robert Kirkman wants at least 8 seasons of the series (via wintersiscoming-net), the creators of the series still have plenty of opportunities to offer Bryan Cranston roles.
However, a few Breaking Bad colleagues have agreed to join the series. Aaron Paul, who plays Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, will play the new villain Powerplex in the currently running 3rd season of the series. Jonathan Banks, who plays Mike in Breaking Bad, will take on an undisclosed role.
As of the time of this article, Season 3 of Invincible is airing on Amazon Prime Video. Four episodes have been released so far, with a new one coming out weekly on Thursdays.
