28-year-old Kaitlyn Siragusa, known as Amouranth, is the biggest and highest-earning streamer on Twitch. In a stream on the night of Saturday to Sunday, October 16, she revealed a whole new side: She claims to be married, but her husband wants her to tell everyone she is single to avoid jeopardizing the business model. She describes a toxic relationship where she is threatened and blackmailed. Her husband threatens to ruin her career, take her money, and kill her dogs.
Update October 17, 2022, 12:45 – Fellow streamer Natalia “Alinity” Mogollon reported in her own stream that she was very worried after seeing the videos. Alinity then tried to reach out to Amouranth.
When Alinity heard nothing from Amouranth, she initiated a so-called “wellness check.” This means that police officers come to check on a person when asked by family members or friends regarding their well-being.
However, Alinity states that the officers could not tell her whether Amouranth was okay. She cannot say more at the moment. Alinity adds that she just wants to hear from Amouranth. She receives a lot of praise on Twitter for her efforts (via Twitter).

What has been Amouranth’s story so far?
- Amouranth has presented herself outside of Twitch as a self-determined career woman whose goal is to earn as much money as possible while she is still young to open an animal shelter.
- In interviews, she said, she grew up isolated as a child, as her parents often moved. She often felt closer to dogs than to people. When one of her dogs, Viggo, tragically passed away, she resolved to earn as much money as possible as a “shameless e-girl” to later open an animal shelter, be completely independent, and lead a very different life.
- A husband never appeared in her stories – it seemed as if she solely lived for her “business,” which kept growing and brought her massive income.
What is her business model? The streamer shares free content of herself, which is already revealing, on Twitter, Instagram, and Twitch. Those who want to see more of Amouranth can unlock adult content on paid sites for money.
Amouranth refers to this activity as “grind, “ which consists of “turning users into paying customers.”
This model has been enormously successful financially for the streamer. A leak showed her as the highest-earning woman on Twitch in 2021 – but the bulk of her earnings comes from another platform. There she earns exceptionally well:
This is now the new development: In a livestream on October 15, there were a series of revelations that are currently being intensely discussed. These revelations about “Amouranth’s Husband” are igniting discussions on social media, on Twitter or in the reddit LSF (Livestreamfails).
Amouranth states that she is married. However, her husband wants her to tell everyone that she is single:
I want to tell people that we are married and we just stream together. Our relationship would be better if we just streamed together. But “No” – Mister “No, don’t tell anyone, it ruins our business model” – fuck you, I’m done. I’ve had enough. You want me to tell them I am single – that will come true soon.
What does she say about her marriage? The streamer states that she has apparently been stuck in a toxic marriage for years. Her husband constantly threatens her with punishment if she does not behave as he wants. She shows direct messages in which her partner threatens:
- To burn her merchandise
- To throw her clothes out the window
- To invest money in options that are about to expire – for the calm investor Amouranth, apparently a hellish agony
- To financially ruin her by “throwing the money out the window”
The direct messages horrify users on Twitter with their details. There are threats to bring a dog to the “butcher,” delete Twitter, or donate large sums to animal welfare organizations if Amouranth does not do this or that within a few minutes. The tone is abysmal, Amouranth is called “dumb fuck,” as a complete idiot.
Husband threatens to destroy her entire life
The streamer says: Her husband threatens her in the case of a “mutual separation” to take all her money except for one million US dollars. He also wants to continue taking 10% of the earnings (via twitch). However, even this offer he has withdrawn and threatened to destroy her life in the event of such a separation.
She also shows in a clip that her husband apparently tends to violent outbursts and has already rampaged in their apartment (via twitch).
She also plays a phone call with an agitated man. The man threatens to destroy her entire life and career during the call.
In another clip, Amouranth says that she has already been to couple’s therapy with her husband and made progress. The therapist made it clear to her husband that there is a form of psychological abuse and that Amouranth is living in a pretty prison.
But then, around the year 2020, the opportunity arose to earn money with “hot tub” streams. Amouranth decided to join the grind to make money – and all therapeutic progress vanished with that.
Why doesn’t she just get divorced?? The streamer says her husband threatens to leave her with only one million US dollars. She also recounts that her husband has already threatened to kill her beloved dogs (via twitter) – if she does not do a 24-hour stream.
Her husband denies this in the call.
Time and again, the husband threatens to ruin her life and go public with revelations, as Amouranth recounts.
How did the stream end? The dramatic stream ends with a call from a woman’s voice asking Amouranth if she has taken her medication.
Amouranth replies, asking why the woman is asking if she has taken her medication – then the stream abruptly ends.
How is this being discussed? Currently, many people are worried about Amouranth, asking how she is doing, whether she is safe.
From a German perspective, the situation escalated around 9:00 AM on Sunday, October 16 – in the USA it was still the middle of the night. There are also no further comments from Amouranth that explain the stream further.
