Kaitlyn Siragusa is the biggest streamer on Twitch as Amouranth. However, while the competition from YouTube Gaming is on a big shopping spree, poaching streamers, Amouranth has not yet received an exclusive contract from either platform. In an interview with FullSquadGaming, she speculated about the possible reasons.
How successful is Amouranth? Amouranth is among the biggest streamers on Twitch. According to data from the analysis tool Rainmaker.gg, she is currently the only woman in the top 100 most-watched channels on Twitch.
Imane “Pokimane” Anys, who would otherwise also have been found in the top 100, announced in September that she would stream less in the future and was correspondingly rare on air in October.
What makes her so successful? Amouranth, on the other hand, is known for her “grind”: she streams extremely often and extensively. On average, she is live 6.8 days a week for 14 hours each day. Twitch and other platforms are just a small part of her business model: fans of her free content are supposed to become paying customers on platforms like OnlyFans, and for that content must also be produced.
Amouranth additionally increases her income through smart investments. She has built a reputation as a hard-working and clever businesswoman.
Journalist Jake Lucky was also interested in her business sense, interviewing Amouranth on November 23. In the interview, Amouranth talked about the platforms Twitch and YouTube, among other things, and explained why she probably hasn’t received an exclusive contract yet.
Amouranth had offers from “sexy Twitch”
What does Amouranth think of Twitch and YouTube? In the interview on November 23, Amouranth was asked for her assessment from a business and streaming perspective: which platform is better, YouTube or Twitch? For Amouranth, the red platform is clearly ahead:
I definitely prefer YouTube as a platform. It’s bigger and probably less toxic because people see more of what they want. With Twitch, there’s no real organization: if you just want to go to “Just Chatting”, you see all these people that you don’t want to see. With YouTube, you can directly enter what you want to watch.

If Amouranth had the choice to perform exclusively on one of the two platforms, she would apparently choose YouTube in an instant. However, the streamer also admits: so far, she has not received such a contract.
Instead, she has received several offers from streaming portals aimed at adults, some amounting to several million dollars. It would then be a mix of the paid platform OnlyFans and a kind of sexy Twitch, according to Amouranth.
Amouranth is probably not brand-friendly enough
Why hasn’t Amouranth received an exclusive contract yet? Given her success, it would actually be an obvious decision for one of the platforms to secure exclusive rights to Amouranth’s content. However, the streamer has a suspicion as to why that hasn’t happened yet:
- Amouranth believes she is “a bit brand-unfriendly.” Apparently, her revealing content may not quite fit the brand identity of the platforms.
- YouTube seems to prefer streamers who host large events, according to Amouranth. She only tried that with her “Streamer Royale” event earlier this year.
Amouranth draws a conclusion from these points: “I think I’m not quite at the point of what they are looking for. But who knows what the future holds.”
Whether Amouranth plans more events in the future or wants to change her content to become “more brand-friendly,” she has not yet disclosed.
In fact, however, some changes to her content can already be observed since Amouranth announced in October that she was freeing herself from her apparently toxic husband.
One of the biggest Twitch streamers to take the leap to YouTube so far is Ludwig Ahgren, who set a record in spring 2021 with his subathon. Now, he hosted “Subathon 2.0” on his new streaming home and streamed for 50 hours from a glass cage.
