Logitech G502 Hero

This is what the G502 Hero offers: The G502 Hero from Logitech is the successor of the Proteus Core. The G502 Hero offers a better sensor. Tracking is excellent thanks to the Hero sensor. Overall, the mouse offers eleven programmable buttons, making it suitable for many applications.

The G502 Hero is available in both a wired and a wireless version, which uses Lightspeed technology. This means you should not lag behind a wired one in terms of latency.

This is our opinion: We at MeinMMO especially like the good tactile feedback and comfortable ergonomics. The adjustable free-spinning scroll wheel is unusual compared to other scroll wheels, such as the one from the Roccat Kone Aimo Remastered. However, the ergonomics may not suit all hand sizes. For instance, small-handed individuals had issues reaching the additional thumb buttons.

The G502 Hero is a strong all-rounder and is well-suited for almost all genres, thanks to its 11 programmable buttons.

Logitech G903 LIGHTSPEED

This is what the Logitech G903 Lightspeed offers: The total weight of the mouse can be adjusted individually. This makes you more flexible overall. Another interesting feature is that you can use an additional button to switch the scroll wheel: This allows you to switch between ratchet mode and free spin. The DPI can be directly controlled via two buttons on the mouse.

The G903 Lightspeed also features the Logitech Hero 16K sensor, which replaces the PixArt PMW 3366 from the predecessor. The Logitech Gaming Software is also worth mentioning. It is straightforward, intuitive, and offers all the functions you need to set up the mouse.

We count Logitech’s G903 among the best shooter mice currently available.

This is our opinion: We at MeinMMO appreciated the good tactile feedback and the large bundle that comes with the mouse. We also like the possibility of using the mouse ambidextrously. We found the additional weight somewhat excessive since the mouse is already quite heavy without it. We have not tested Logitech’s Powerplay.

Logitech G Pro Wireless

This is what the mouse offers: The G Pro Wireless is almost the counterpart to the G903 Lightspeed, as the G Pro is very lightweight and thus ideal for esports or for people looking for a lightweight and fast mouse. Those who look at the settings of various esports organizations, for example, on prosettings.com (external link), will find that the G Pro Wireless from Logitech is popular among many esports teams.

The Logitech G Pro Wireless offers good battery life and 4 – 8 programmable buttons. The Hero sensor provides high precision, and the mouse is made of very lightweight material – perfect for esports.

This is our opinion: We at MeinMMO found no disadvantage compared to a wired mouse during use. The advantage of the wireless variant is especially noticeable when it comes to being able to move the mouse freely and quickly without obstacles at any time. This is further enhanced by its low weight, making it feel almost like a symbiosis between hand and mouse. This is useful not only in competitive areas but also more comfortable. However, this mouse is also significantly more expensive than its competitors.

A comparable mouse in terms of price and weight range would be Razer’s Viper Ultimate, which also focuses on low weight and uses Hyperspeed for a fast, near-latency-free wireless standard.

Logitech G815 Gaming Keyboard

This is what the model offers: The wired Logitech G815 in its slim version uses mechanical Kaihua GL linear switches in low-profile design.

These are rated for 70 million key presses and provide a smooth key press without resistance. Individuals looking for a clear pressure point may be less impressed here.

Included are a high-quality aluminum housing, customizable RGB backlighting, a volume control dial, nine multimedia keys (five programmable as macro keys), and a USB 2.0 hub for another device. This makes the keyboard very versatile and provides many options for gamers.

This is our opinion: We at MeinMMO especially liked the elegant design. Those coming from higher and more tactile keys, like those of a Roccat Vulcan 120, will have to adjust but should find it easy to get accustomed. Other keyboards, like the Fnatic Streak or the mentioned Roccat Vulcan 120, provide a much more pleasant lighting experience than Logitech’s representative.

Logitech G533

This is what the device offers: The Logitech G533 is a wireless headset and offers controls directly on the headset. It promises up to 15 hours of battery life at a range of up to 15 meters. It also features 7.1 surround sound (DTS) and a boom microphone. For gaming, you get a good gaming headset with decent build quality. However, for pure music enjoyment, the sound overall seems too bass-heavy.

This is our opinion: We at MeinMMO liked the comfortable fit and the good microphone. Even after long rounds, the headset stayed comfortable, and the connection remained stable. The device can even be operated seamlessly under Linux thanks to the Logitech adapter, but we had to forgo the Logitech software.

If you are looking for a wired version from Logitech, you should check out the Logitech G Pro X. It is priced similarly but offers even better build quality. There is also a wireless version of the Logitech G Pro X, but it is significantly more expensive than the G533.
