Who is this device suitable for? With the Nari Ultimate, Razer has come up with something special. Because in addition to decent sound quality, the goal is to use Hypersense technology to create haptic feedback. This means: when a tank explodes next to you, you also feel it as a vibration through the headset. As is typical for Razer, the Nari Essential also offers Razer Synapse software. Those familiar with it or already owning Razer products will appreciate this headset.
This is what the device offers: In theory, this sounds really cool; in practice, it can sometimes be more or less convincing. Our colleagues from GameStar describe the Razer Nari Ultimate in their test as a solid headset, noting that the haptic feedback is a nice feature but can be somewhat annoying over time.
The sound is quite usable, but it cannot always compete with other headsets. Here, the in-house competition with the Razer BlackShark V2 offers decidedly better sound. The high comfort, good craftsmanship, and long battery life are definitely on the plus side.

The manufacturer has developed the headset for the esports sector, so the strengths of the BlackShark V2 lie here: the identification of sounds is very good, and the footsteps of opponents can be easily located in the sound image. Another advantage is the low weight of the headset; at 262 grams, it is significantly lighter than other gaming headsets.

This is what the device offers: The HyperX Cloud Alpha S offers you good workmanship thanks to a metal headband and decent padding. Weighing in at 310 grams, the headset remains manageable. However, if you have a smaller head, the headset may still feel heavy in the long run.
