Alternative to Battlefield launches for free on Steam – Allows you to buy only what you truly want in the Battle Pass

The free shooter Delta Force is already considered a strong competitor to Battlefield. The game is preparing for its beta release on Steam, and in order to finance itself, it will offer battle passes. Regarding its payment model, the shooter aims to remain fair.

What kind of game is Delta Force? Delta Force is a free-to-play shooter that bears strong similarities to Battlefield. The game is set to feature three modes: a PvP mode, an Extraction mode, and a campaign. On December 5th, the open beta will start worldwide for PC, and anyone interested can participate.

However, in order to finance the game, there will be a battle pass designed to be budget-friendly—depending on which mode you choose.

Battle Pass gives you the choice

How will the battle pass work? The battle pass is completely optional. If you are not interested in spending money, you can stick with the free rewards. These include the operator “Toxic” as well as some safeboxes. However, if you wish to purchase a battle pass, you have a choice of three options:

• You can purchase only the battle pass for the extraction shooter mode
• You can purchase only the battle pass for the PvP mode
• You can purchase both battle passes in a deluxe package for a lower total price than buying them separately

This is especially convenient if you only plan to play one mode. You can therefore decide for yourself which mode you enjoy more to earn rewards there. You are not bound to pay a higher price for multiple battle passes if you do not intend to unlock them.

The battle passes are also tailored to the individual modes. While the pass for the extraction mode offers more resources, the PvP variant grants you XP tokens as well as vehicle skins. In the deluxe version, you will also receive a special skin that you can see in the cover image.
