No matter which content you want to play in World of Warcraft right now – everything contributes to improving your character. The Turbo Boost makes it possible.
In World of Warcraft, the Turbo Boost has just started and it allows you to collect better gear extremely quickly. The advantage is that you can now farm an unlimited amount of emblems and exchange them infinitely for more powerful emblems. This means there is practically no limit to improving your character anymore.
What is new now? With the start of the Turbo Boost on May 14, 2025, a lot has changed in WoW. Besides increasing the maximum item level of the best items, the lifting of the weekly cap on different emblems is particularly significant. Without this cap, it means:
You can farm as much as you want and collect infinite upgrades.
How does it work? The emblems of the various levels can all be exchanged to upgrade them. This can be done in Dornogal with the Dracthyr Vaskarn.
You can exchange 45 emblems of one level for 15 emblems of the next higher level. This results in the following table with the costs for the respective emblems:

It doesn’t matter what content you are playing for this. Whether low dungeons, world events like the Flame’s Radiance, LFR raids, Depths, or even harder content. Almost everything rewards emblems that you can use for upgrades. Any surplus emblems can be exchanged once you have unlocked the next level.
How do you get powerful items? Basically, there are two methods to obtain extremely powerful items without having to play hard content.
The first method is crafting. With crafting, you can create a handful of items at a very high level – item level 681 is now possible. Since you mainly need emblems for this, you can farm at your own pace.
The second method is the tokens that you receive from a new quest you can accept at the bank of Dornogal.
Even if you only play very light endgame content, like the LFR raid, you can still grab a few Hero items. Through the tokens, you can buy 3 items of your choice from the vendor and upgrade them to an item level of 671 – which is significantly stronger than anything else you can get with little effort.
It has never been easier to obtain really strong gear in World of Warcraft that can be earned just by investing time – even if you don’t play any really challenging content. A pleasant boost for everyone, no matter what skill level they are at.
