More than just a single playstyle with “Aspects”
In Allods Online, a big update is coming in the next few days. The Patch 7.0 named “New Order” lives up to its name and significantly revamps the MMORPG. The biggest changes are in the area of the various classes. Until now, the different classes could almost always effectively perform only a single role, resulting in rigid labels like “Tank”, “Healer”, and “Damage Dealer”, without ever being able to break out of that role.

For this reason, the developers are now introducing Aspects. Aspects provide players with new ways to customize their character. They are essentially “stances” that enhance certain abilities of the character and increase their effects. Not every class will have access to all Aspects, but there will be at least 2-3 for everyone. And this is what they look like:
- Aspect of Assault: Character damage increases by up to 30%.
- Aspect of Defense: Character health increases by up to 50% and generated threat by up to 100%.
- Aspect of Healing: Increases healing done by up to 50%.
- Aspect of Suppression: Control effects become instant casts. The duration of control effects is increased by up to 200%.
- Aspect of Support: The duration of support effects is increased by up to 200% and their effectiveness by up to 45%.
