In World of Warcraft Classic, PvP is currently clearly in focus – at least on the PvP realms. The Honor System in Classic is live and it leads to even more skirmishes, rivalries, and nasty ganks on the PvP realms than before.
But how quickly the tables can turn is seen time and again. We want to show you one of these incidents here.
What happened? On the server Golemagg, a group of 9 Alliance players secured control over the chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands. The Horde players there were murdered, and newcomers were also quickly slaughtered – a typical PvP situation, as it often occurs. A classic ambush, right at the flight master.

But then the Alliance players can hardly believe their eyes. Because in the span of about 5 seconds, an entire Horde raid of nearly 40 players lands in the camp and makes the Alliance look pretty bad.
Although there is some resistance in the first seconds, such as a desperate Blizzard, the resistance doesn’t hold for long. The overwhelming force of players overruns the camp and avenges their fallen Horde friends.
PvP is currently popular: Although PvP is very popular among most players right now, there is also a lot of criticism. Many of the realms are too full, leading to massive lags and delays that make normal PvP fights nearly impossible.
Some players also criticize that there are currently extremely many raid groups just roaming through low-level areas and killing everything they can find – regardless of whether it grants honor or not. This makes normal leveling nearly impossible.
