The new leaked screenshots suggest a setting for Battlefield 6 in a near future. This aligns with statements made by a recognized leaker on the subject.
What’s new? In connection to Battlefield 6, two screenshots have appeared that are supposedly the first leaks of the game (via PCGamer.com):
- One image shows a rocket launch base
- The other image shows an island with buildings and helicopters.
Keep in mind that these are supposed leaks about Battlefield 6. Consider the information with a certain degree of skepticism and do not take it as facts.
These are the leaked screenshots
What can be seen? The screenshots seem to be trailer grabs, meaning they were taken from an ongoing trailer. The resolution is quite low.
One image shows a launch station for a rocket. The photo was presumably taken from a helicopter. In the sky, dark clouds indicate a storm or bad weather.
The second image shows a view of an island. It is covered with plenty of grass, bushes, and trees. There are buildings, including a large skyscraper. In the back part of the elongated island, you can see rising smoke clouds, likely caused by a rocket launch. In the air, there are many other helicopters resembling the V-22 type.

The images suggest that Battlefield 6 will take place in a modern future. This would also fit with rumors shared by recognized leaker Tom Henderson about Battlefield 6 (via getrevue.co). He states that the next Battlefield should take place about 10 years (measured from now) in the future. Weapons and vehicles currently used by the military are expected to be part of the shooter.
On Twitter, Henderson writes: “I won’t retweet or share it for obvious reasons… but yes, the two Battlefield images that leaked in the last hour are real.” (via Twitter.com).
He adds that the images were likely taken during a Zoom session, which would explain the low quality.
Battlefield 6 – Release, Setting, Name
This is what EA says about the release: During an investor conference in November 2020, EA revealed some details about the new installment in the Battlefield series. They mentioned that the release is planned for Christmas 2021.
At that time, EA CEO Andrew Wilson gushed about the size and new technical possibilities that exist thanks to the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
This is what leaks say: Leaker Tom Henderson has frequently commented on the new installment of Battlefield and disclosed information:
- The new Battlefield is supposedly going to be simply called “Battlefield” and not carry the number 6
- In certain game modes, up to 128 players are supposed to fight simultaneously
- Allegedly, a battle royale was also in development – it is unclear whether it is still being worked on
- Battlefield 6 is likely oriented towards one of the best parts of the series, says an insider
It should not be long before we can say goodbye to the leaks and finally receive a real presentation. Insiders claim: Battlefield 6 will be officially revealed soon. Even after the recent two leaks, Henderson writes on Twitter: “We are not far from it now”.
