1. Destruction Staff
What kind of weapon is this? The Destruction Staff is a two-handed weapon that focuses on magical attacks with elements. You can choose from fire, ice, and shock staff.
This staff is the first choice for all magical damage dealers, both in PvP and PvE. Generally, it is a ranged weapon, and you hurl elemental projectiles from a distance. However, there are also builds where the fighter with a Destruction Staff goes into melee combat.
What skills does the weapon come with?
Ultimate Skills
- Elemental Storm – A powerful storm that inflicts damage on all enemies in the area of effect for 7 seconds
- Eye of the Storm – The storm originates above you and follows you
- Elemental Fury – Increases damage based on the staff used and grants a new effect
Active Skills
- Force Strike – A strong magic strike
- Shattering Strike – Interrupts abilities and knocks out of balance
- Power Surge – Deals damage to nearby foes who are burning, chilled, or confused
- Elemental Barrier – Creates an elemental barrier in front of you that deals damage over time
- Unstable Elemental Barrier – The wall explodes when it dissolves
- Elemental Blockade – Increases size and duration
- Destructive Touch – Deals damage and damage over time
- Destructive Strike – Converts the damage over time into an additional effect based on your staff
- Destructive Fist – Increases the range
- Weakness to Elements – Reduces the resistances of the opponent
- Elemental Vulnerability – Increases the range and damage dealt recovers the maximum
- Elemental Drain – Additionally applies magicka drain to enemies
- Impulse – Unleashes a wave of elemental energy based on the element of your staff
- Elemental Ring – Causes damage in a chosen area instead of around you
- Pulsar – Maims opponents, reducing their life and increasing chances for status effects
Passive Skills
- Tri-Focus – Grants bonuses on heavy attacks based on element
- Piercing Magic – You ignore part of the magic resistance of your opponents
- Elemental Power – Increases the chance for elemental status effects
- Ancient Knowledge – Grants you an additional bonus based on element, either for damage or for blocking
- Destruction Expert – Killing opponents restores Magicka, as does blocking damage with your shield
