League of Legends is a very complex game with many different mechanics that make each round unique. In an apparently normal match, however, the almost impossible can happen, as a Twitch streamer found out.
Which Twitch streamer are we talking about? The top laner and “cosplayer”, Alois_NL, regularly streams League of Legends on his Twitch channel. He currently aims to conquer the Korean server and plays the champion Dr. Mundo.
What did Alois experience? On X, the LoL streamer posted a screenshot showing the summary of damage to structures. After a 17-minute victory, he checked how much damage he and his teammates had inflicted. To his astonishment, he was solely responsible for all the structural damage done by his team.
Alois himself says that he has never seen anything like this in his LoL career and that “the stars must have perfectly aligned”. Furthermore, he wonders if such a case has ever occurred before.
Why is this almost impossible? League of Legends is played on a map with three lanes and a jungle. Each lane has three towers and an inhibitor that spawns minions. The main objective to win is to destroy the towers and structures leading to the Nexus, the team’s main base, thereby winning the game.
Usually, there is almost always a way to deal some damage to the first tower, especially when the opposing champion is in base buying items or regenerating health.
In a match that is heavily lost, it can happen that only one or even no champion inflicted damage on structures. However, Alois won the match, making it even crazier that none of his teammates even considered attacking the important structures.
His fans are also astonished
What do his fans say about the “achievement”? Under the post on X, user ZankoAkurou wonders how this is even possible. Another user writes on X.com that he can somewhat understand it due to Alois’s champion choice, but there is one among them who can excellently push the minions with his abilities and thus would have enough opportunities to attack a structure.
The question of whether this has happened before has also been answered. X user MvSBatman showed with a screenshot that it happened to him exactly the same way, but his match was several years ago and it has not occurred again since.
The post by Alois also astonishes players on Reddit: Alarming_Tea_219 writes that he has played several rounds where he dealt more or even twice as much damage to structures as his entire team, but there has never been a match like Alois’s.
