The Pokémon Unite introduced in 2020 has recently released new gameplay and some new information. This includes a list of the playable Pokémon at launch. MeinMMO presents all Pokémon and their attributes to you.
Pokémon Unite is a MOBA for Switch and Mobile, that resembles other games like League of Legends:
- You compete with two teams, each consisting of five Pokémon.
- In the “Unite Battles”, each player selects a Pokémon.
- You can equip items and learn various attacks.
- The Pokémon are divided into 5 roles.
In the matches, your Pokémon can evolve as you level up. Pokémon like Pikachu or Lucario, however, do not evolve. The goal is to collect what is called “Aeos Energy”. You earn this by defeating opposing or wild Pokémon. You need this energy to score points for your team in the “scoring zones”.
What roles are there? In Pokémon Unite, there is a large selection of different monsters, divided into five categories:
- Attacker – These are Pokémon with low durability who excel at dealing damage to opponents from a distance.
- Speedster – These Pokémon have exceptionally high offense and mobility. They are particularly suited for quick attacks and scoring points.
- Allrounder – Allrounders have balanced offense and durability.
- Defender – These Pokémon have high durability and are tasked with protecting allies and hindering opponents.
- Supporter – They are particularly good at restoring allies’ HP and can inflict status effects on opponents.
Each Pokémon also has a Unite Move, a kind of ultimate move, as seen in other games like League of Legends. You unlock this at level 9. We have listed all Pokémon with their attributes here for you.

Pokémon found by dataminers
What Pokémon are these? We previously reported on a first network test that took place in Japan. Players were able to play some rounds of the Pokémon MOBA here. By a trick, it was even possible for players from Europe.
Dataminers have also taken their chance and unearthed information. Twitter user Michael writes that he discovered four additional Pokémon in the game files that are not listed on the website. (via Twitter)
These are:
- Blastoise
- Heiteira
- Gardevoir
- Zeraora
Probably, the pre-evolutions of these Pokémon will also be included. What roles and attributes these monsters will have in Pokémon Unite is currently unclear. Blastoise and Gardevoir have already been confirmed as new Pokémon that will come to the game after release. (via Twitter)
Therefore, we can assume that this also applies to Zeraora and Heiteira.
Is crossplay possible? Yes, such a feature is planned. You should be able to play against each other regardless of the platform. A cross-save feature is also planned. You can then easily use your save data from a smartphone on the Switch and vice versa.
Which Pokémon do you wish for in Pokémon Unite? Are your favorites perhaps already included? Feel free to share your thoughts with us in the comments on MeinMMO.
If you want, you can even dress your fighters in cool outfits: All skins for trainers and Pokémon from Pokémon Unite that are now known.
