In just a few days, on November 13, the new shooter Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War will be released. We will tell you which multiplayer modes await you so that you can find the right one for you.
Are you already excited about the release of Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War? In addition to a single-player campaign, you can dive into various MP modes in the new shooter. We present these to you in an overview so you can decide which mode is right for you.
Team Deathmatch
The classic, where small teams of players fight on multiple maps to achieve as many kills as possible. If you reach the specified number of kills, your team wins. However, you must adhere to the time limit of 10 minutes.
If no team is able to achieve the required number of kills within these 10 minutes, the team with the most kills wins.
Kill Confirmed

This mode works very similarly to Team Deathmatch. If you score a kill, a dog tag appears over the body of the defeated player. You must collect these tags.
This means that the regular kill only counts once you have picked up the tag. However, you can snatch these dog tags from the opposing team so that the kill does not count for them.
Domination
Another classic where you must capture and hold three flags distributed on the map. To claim the flags for yourself, you need to stand near them for a period of time. The more of your teammates stay at the flag, the faster this process works. Enemies block progress.
Each flag that you control will earn you points over time. The more flags you have captured, the faster you earn these points. The team that first reaches 200 points wins.
Hardpoint
Your team must capture a point on the map referred to as the Hill. However, this point changes every 60 seconds and reappears randomly somewhere on the map.
You must stay within a certain radius around this location to earn points. You need to be quick to reach the capturing locations and collect the points. The team with 250 points wins the match.
Free-for-All
This is essentially classic deathmatch. There are no objectives; the goal is simply to eliminate as many opponents as possible. You are also not part of a team; everyone is your enemy. The player who is the first to achieve the set number of kills wins. However, just like in Team Deathmatch, there is also a timer.
The player with the most kills when time runs out is the winner.
Search and Destroy

The teams must either defend or attack two locations. The attackers are supposed to place a bomb at the locations while the defenders must prevent this. Once the bomb is planted, there is still an opportunity to defuse it.
In the next round, the teams swap roles, with the defenders becoming the attackers. The team that first wins four rounds will be the victor. Another special feature: fallen teammates only re-enter the game in the next round.
Control
Two teams have 90 seconds to capture or defend two locations on the map. If an area is captured, the team gains additional time. Once the attackers have captured both locations, the team wins.
The defenders win as soon as the time runs out, and both points could not be captured by the attackers. Respawns are also limited here, with a total of 30 team lives. If a team has used up its lives, the squad with the surviving players wins.
VIP Escort
One team must protect an important person and escort them across the map to two possible exit points. The opposing team must prevent this and eliminate the VIP.
If the VIP defenders manage to eliminate all attackers, the round is also considered won.
Combined Arms: Assault
Two teams, each consisting of 12 players, must capture a point in the middle of the map. Once this is achieved, a new point appears that must also be captured. Each team tries to capture all the points to be able to attack the enemy base.
Combined Arms: Domination
In this mode, the teams also consist of 12 players each. On a large map, you must capture many flags, which earn you points. The team that first reaches 400 points is the winner.
Fireteam: Dirty Bomb
In this mode, 40 players face off against 40 opponents. The players are divided into 10 teams of 4 fighters each. By opening boxes and defeating enemies, you collect uranium. Once you have collected the required amount, you must deliver everything at a specific point.
Afterward, a small atomic explosion will radioactively contaminate the area. Collecting uranium, defeating enemies, and detonating bombs earns you points. If a team reaches the required number of points, it is declared the winner.
Gunfight
Here, 2 teams consisting of 2 players each face off against each other. The duos compete on the smallest maps, leading to quick engagements. The team that first eliminates the other team wins. If the match takes too long, a flag appears, capturing it will also lead to victory.
