Rank 2: The Final Form
The Final Form is the last DLC of the Light and Darkness saga and also thrillingly ushers in the end. Bungie packaged it cleverly and did not immediately focus on the ultimate battle against the Witness. Rather, it highlighted the life of a Guardian and the resulting consequences of such a “blessing” again.
Even though the narrative often seemed tedious, the conclusion met expectations if you’ve been a fan for 10 years. Prisma also fulfilled a huge wish for many fans to finally mix different talents of known elements and create even more elaborate builds.
As for the raid and the final battle against the Witness, I say that Bungie has outdone itself here. The presentation and the moment of closure provided a round ending and thus a well-deserved applause.
Unfortunately, the seasons, with the exception of Episode: Treachery, do not really convince and seem more like fillers to keep the players entertained just barely. Additionally, the return of Cayde was questionable. Even though he is one of my favorites from the franchise, it felt more like a nostalgic homage to something Bungie should have left dead.
