Rank 4: Beyond Light
Even though Beyond Light did not provide a strong story, the expansion was able to convince mainly with post-content and the revelation of one of the biggest mysteries of the franchise – the Exos. The raid is also considered one of the most beginner-friendly that Destiny 2 has to offer.
As for the seasons, they consistently maintained a red thread that ran through all seasons.
There was no shortage of suspense, as there were profound events that could captivate:
- The announcement of Crow (formerly Uldren Sov)
- The alliance between the Vanguard and the Cabal
- The rescue of the House of Light and the ordered exile of the factions of the Tower
- The exorcism of Savathun
Beyond Light is the prime example of a strong expansion when it comes to hinting at a climax, which is then ushered in with another expansion.
Additionally, there was Stasis, which was a nightmare for many in PvP. Apart from PvP, the new element could provide many weeks of fun when you were in the mood for ice.
