Kingdom Under Fire 2 is about to launch. A few days ago, GameForge released videos for each playable class. We show you what the characters are capable of and which one suits you.
A full 10 years later than planned, the release of Kingdom Under Fire 2 is just around the corner. GameForge has now released even more information about the characters of the new MMORPG/RTS. We’ll reveal here what classes are available, what they can do, and which one might suit you.
These playable classes are available: For the game, you will have five classes with different skills and playstyles at your disposal:
- The Sword Shooter
- The Battle Mage
- The Berserker
- The Huntress
- and the Elementalist.
This is what the videos offer: For each of the five playable classes, you will find videos where you can see designs in character creation, among other things.

The versatility of the individual classes
With the five characters of Kingdom Under Fire 2, no two play the same. You have the choice between ranged and melee combat as well as physical strength and magic. However, the individual classes are bound to a specific gender.
The Sword Shooter – With Long Sword and Pistols
What can the class do? The Sword Shooter likes to be at the forefront. He can swing a longsword and also unleash combos with two pistols. With that, he can deal single-target and area damage. He replenishes the ammunition of his pistols through sword combos.
Who is the Sword Shooter suited for? With this class, you can score particularly in melee combat. Although the Sword Shooter brings pistols, he is still suited for the front line. If that’s your preferred position, this agile character is the right choice for you.
The Battle Mage – Low Health, High Damage
What can the Battle Mage do? This dark elf also has a versatile playstyle. She uses magical runes to constantly combine them into new attacks. She can also heal herself, balancing out her comparatively low health. This class uses ice and lightning magic and demonstrates agility with sword and scepter.
Who is this class suitable for? If you don’t shy away from taking a hit, the Battle Mage is the right choice for you. Unlike other classes, she has less health, but she deals significant damage – either with the sword or with magic. Furthermore, you have the option to heal.
The Berserker – With Rage and Shield
What can the class do? The Berserker class impresses with its raw physical strength and high health. He is ideal for fighting on the front line, as he can generate a shield through his rage that absorbs damage. Additionally, his weapons are enhanced with dark magic, allowing him to deal powerful blows.
Who is the Berserker a good choice for? This class is a pure melee fighter. If you enjoy standing at the front with raw power, this is a good fit. And although the Berserker brings a shield, you can still deal significant damage with it.
The Huntress – For Melee and Ranged Combat
What distinguishes the Huntress? The Huntress is equipped for both melee and ranged combat. She can take down her enemies with daggers and a bow. This class is also characterized by skill and speed.
Who is this class suitable for? The Huntress is a good choice if you like fast characters. With her, you are incredibly agile and versatile through melee and ranged weapons. Her great strength lies in fighting against a single opponent; with multiple, you may find it a bit more challenging.
The Elementalist – Pure Power of the Elements
What can the Elementalist do? As the name suggests, this class harnesses the power of the elements. With that, she can execute magical attacks and defend herself. Although she looks cute, she is fierce in combat. With her summoned companions, she becomes a danger to any opponent.
Who does this class suit? The Elementalist is purely a mage, so you cannot strike with a sword like with other classes. Armed with a staff, you control powerful elements. Additionally, you can summon companions to fight by your side.
On which platforms will the game be released? Initially, only PC players can look forward to the new MMORPG with RTS elements. A version for PS4 and Xbox has not been ruled out. Thus, console fans can also take a closer look at the characters.
