Rank 2: Wolf School

- Location: Kaer Morhen in Kaedwen
- Specialization: balanced fighting style
- Known members: Geralt of Rivia, Vesemir, Eskel, Lambert
The most well-known witcher school is undoubtedly the Wolf School. Witchers from this school are often loners, but they do not fundamentally reject collaboration. They have a certain code of conduct, try to stay out of others’ affairs, and often make decisions based on moral grounds.
In battle, they are well-prepared overall. Their training includes sword fighting, magic, and alchemy, allowing them to adapt to many situations.
Many years before the events of Witcher 3, Kaer Morhen, the fortress of the Wolf School, was overrun by an angry mob. With the help of some mages, the attackers managed to kill all the witchers in the fortress. Nevertheless, the fate of the school was not entirely sealed. Some witchers were away at the time of the attack and later returned to their headquarters. Among them were Geralt and his mentor Vesemir. Therefore, the Wolf School is one of the few remaining witcher schools with a fixed location.
