In Destiny 2, players can show off cool titles. Is “Unbroken” really the rarest title and does everyone have “Wanderer”? We answer these and other questions in the ranking of the 18 titles.
These are titles in Destiny 2: In the titles, there are cool customizations for your Guardians. Alongside your gamer name, the prestigious title of your character is also visible to everyone else.
You can boast powerfully with the titles because they are usually tied to hard work, time-intensive grinding, or very tricky triumphs. However, in this article, we are concerned with which title is actually the rarest. So you can now factually state: My Guardian has the rarest one.
In Beyond Light, some changes to this system are coming, and some titles will even become unattainable:
Where does the data come from? The numbers presented in the article come from Charlemagne. This name refers both to Charlemagne and a Discord bot that provides statistics, event planning, and leaderboards related to Destiny 2.
At Warmind.Io, you can get all sorts of interesting data and facts about Destiny 2. However, the numbers should be taken with a grain of caution because they do not come officially from Bungie. As Destiny 2 grants third parties insight into its data via API, and Warmind.Io is used by many Guardians, clear trends can indeed be derived.
Rank 18 – Dredgen
The Gambit title Dredgen is currently the most common title suffix. If you play Gambit frequently, you likely completed most of the required triumphs along the way. Since Bungie simplified the grind further, the Wandering has many new Dredgen colleagues.
The numbers say: 588,662 players own the Dredgen title. That means about 64% of users have this title. In comparison to the rarest titles, this number is astronomical.
Rank 17 – Wanderer
To be called aWanderer, you must be a true globetrotter. You need to traverse many planets and collect tons of gear. This is a labor title.
The numbers say: 296,754 can call themselves Wanderer. This corresponds to 33.5% of users. Interestingly, Wanderer is considered the least prestigious title, but it is actually considerably rarer than Dredgen.
Rank 16 – Savior
The Savior is a so-called seasonal title. These could only be earned during the corresponding season and are related to the story that was experienced during this time. In Season 9, we rescued Saint-14 from the time storms and, of course, saved the entire universe along the way.
The numbers say: 252,953 Guardians have achieved the certified Savior title, which is 28.5%.
Rank 15 – Cursebreaker
With the title Cursebreaker, Guardians are honored who proved themselves in the Dreaming City. This includes, among other things, completion of the Shattered Throne, one of the most popular Destiny activities of all time.
The numbers say: 181,541 worthy Cursebreakers are counted by Warmind.Io. This corresponds to almost one-fifth, namely 20.5% of the relevant users.
Rank 14 – Almighty
The award Almighty is also a seasonal title. For this, players had to shoot down a Cabal fleet ship crashing to Earth from orbit in Season 10 alongside the powerful Warmind Rasputin.
The numbers say: Particularly devoted were 169,017 Guardians, to whom we now owe the survival of the Last City (19.1%).
Rank 13 – MMXIX
The title MMXIX is currently no longer earnable and was tied to the Triumph Moments of 2019. It is the first title that came with a time limitation.
The numbers say: 148,402 Destiny players have the title MMXIX. In other words: 16.7% of users carry the Roman numerals that mean “2019”.
Rank 12 – Immortal
The title Immortal is still a seasonal title. This title suffix has not been reachable since Season 8. Those who fought back the allegedly “immortal” robots during the Vex Offensive may show that they were there.
The numbers say: With 145,820 users who have earned the Immortal title, this suffix is only slightly ahead of rank 11. This time it is 16.5% of users.
Rank 11 – MMXX
The suffix MMXX is tied to the currently ongoing Triumph Moments 2020. To be able to show off this title, you must show what you can do this year in all areas of Destiny.
The numbers say: So far, 73,638 users have triumphed, which corresponds to 8.3%. Unlike the Solstice event, which ended on September 8, you have until November 10 to meet all other requirements for this title.
On the next page, we will take a look at the 10 rarest titles and reveal right now that there is a new rank 1.
