In the MOBA Pokémon Unite by TiMi Studios, you receive medals after each match that highlight your achievements. We at MeinMMO explain to you what they mean and what you get from them.
There are a total of 17 medals in Pokémon Unite, some of which you earn after each match. The medal you can receive partly depends on your Pokémon. In the final evaluation, the goals scored are weighted significantly.
Pokémon Unite: Medals awarded to individual Pokémon
Each of the following medals can only be awarded once per team.
“MVP“ Medal
How do you earn the “MVP“ Medal (Most Valuable Player)? You get the MVP award by delivering the best performance of the game. This includes all goals, KOs, and assists. This is the only medal that you can actually benefit from, as it allows you to earn extra points in the Battle Pass. The points let you progress further there and receive additional rewards. MVPs are often the Junglers or Attackers.
All following medals do not bring special achievements, but are just an extra recognition after the match. They have no impact on your rewards, statistics, or game events thereafter.
“KO“ Medal
How do you earn the “KO” Medal? The “KO“ Medal is only awarded to the one who makes the most KOs for the team. This refers only to KOs of the opposing team’s Pokémon, not the wild Pokémon.
“Helper“ Medal
How do you earn the “Assist” Medal? You become a holder of this medal by helping your teammates take out an opponent’s Pokémon. You can buff, heal, or attack alongside your teammate. Everything counts as an assist.
“Best Score“ Medal
How do you earn the “Best Score” Medal? If you are the one who scored the most goals in the game, you receive this medal as a reward.
“Goal Interrupt“ Medal
How do you earn the “Goal Interrupt” Medal? You get the Goal Interrupt Medal if you manage to prevent the opponents from scoring a goal in your field. Before a Pokémon can score a goal, an animation starts. If you interrupt the opponent during this, it counts as an interrupt.
“Healed“ Medal
How do you earn the “Healed” Medal? If you heal others or yourself, that counts as “healed”. If you have regenerated the most hit points, you receive this medal.
“Injured“ Medal
How do you earn the “Injured” Medal? The “Injured“ Medal is awarded for taking the most damage. All forms of hit point loss count as an injury.
Pokémon Unite: Medals awarded by specific classes
The following medals can be received by multiple team members at the same time. Here, only the score and the Pokémon’s class determine which medal you receive.
“Silver Attacker“ Medal
How do you earn the “Silver Attacker” Medal? Any Attacker Pokémon can take this medal home. If you end up with 70 or more points, you earn the “Silver Attacker” Medal. Attacker Pokémon can be recognized by the red background in the character selection.
“Gold Attacker“ Medal
How do you earn the “Gold Attacker” Medal? Any Attacker Pokémon can earn this medal with 80 or more points.
“Silver Defender“ Medal
How do you earn the “Silver Defender” Medal? If the Pokémon is a Defender and ends the match with 70 or more points, you receive the “Silver Defender” Medal. Defenders can be recognized by the green background in character selection.
“Gold Defender“ Medal
How do you earn the “Gold Defender” Medal? Defender Pokémon with 80 or more points receive the “Gold Defender” Medal.
“Silver All-Rounder“ Medal
How do you earn the “Silver All-Rounder” Medal? All All-Rounders who end the game with 70 or more points earn this medal. All-Rounders can be recognized by the purple background in character selection.
“Gold All-Rounder“ Medal
How do you earn the “Gold All-Rounder” Medal? All-Rounder Pokémon with 80 or more points receive the “Gold All-Rounder” Medal.
“Silver Supporter“ Medal
How do you earn the “Silver Supporter” Medal? If you play a Supporter and achieve 70 or more points by the end of the match, you receive the “Silver Supporter” Medal. Supporter Pokémon can be recognized by the yellow background.
“Gold Supporter“ Medal
How do you earn the “Gold Supporter” Medal? All Supporter Pokémon who have 80 or more points at the end of the round receive this medal.
“Silver Speedster“ Medal
How do you earn the “Silver Speedster” Medal? If you finish the match with more than 70 points using a Speedster Pokémon, you receive the “Silver Speedster“ Medal. These Pokémon can be recognized by the blue background in character selection.
“Gold Speedster“ Medal
How do you earn the “Gold Speedster” Medal? All Speedster Pokémon who finish the game with 80 or more points receive this medal.
If you see a gray, circled number behind your name at the end of the match, at least one of the nine other players sent a “Good Job!” to you. This is essentially a manual badge that you can pass on to all players. It has no impact.
