Guilds are an essential part of an MMORPG – and therefore crucial for Albion Online.
Even though the developers recently laid off almost half of the staff, work on the MMORPG continues. The next major update is currently in planning, which is set to be released soon. A specific date will be announced later. The update aims to address guilds, which is why the UI will be revamped.
Better UI Makes Life Easier for Guilds
UI designer Lino Claudius discusses in a new developer video the optimizations and improvements being made. These mainly aim to enhance the interface, making it more logical and intuitive. Players should spend less time managing guild resources through the user interface and instead focus more on the actual game.
Improvements to the guild UI include among other things:
- Individual rights allocation
- Better tracking
- More efficient resource distribution
- Easier resource allocation
- Freely configurable guild roles
- Container protocol for the guild chests
- The introduction of shared guild vaults

Guilds Should Focus on the Game
In general, the developers aim to create an intuitive, customizable system for guilds that makes meaningful distribution and usage of resources more feasible. The guild members should focus less on organization and have more fun in the actual game.
Recently, almost every second employee of the MMORPG Albion Online was laid off.
