With the Guardians, you can expect massive world bosses in the sandbox MMORPG Albion Online that promise a lot of loot.
During your travels and adventures in the MMORPG Albion Online, you will also encounter the Guardians. These are world bosses which can yield you 2,560 level 6 resources if you manage to defeat them. For this reason, you will find the bosses at level 6 resource hotspots. They respawn after 12 to 48 hours.
Defeat the Guardians!
You can only defeat a Guardian in a group (10 players are recommended) and each boss requires a different tactic. You should act quickly in combat, because after 15 minutes, a boss goes into a rage, making it even harder to defeat.
It is helpful to unlock the “Scourge Master” on the Fate Board, which gives you an additional 60% bonus to attack and defense in combat against a Guardian.
The bosses you encounter in the game
Ancient White
- Hit Points: 904,849
- Auto Attack Damage: 3,000 (physical) to anyone standing in front of the Ancient White.
- Avalanche: Anyone hit by the rocks thrown by the boss suffers 2,750 magical damage and is pushed back 15 meters.
- Spirit Storm: The Mammoth summons 3 spirit mammoths that trample everyone in their path, dealing 3,750 magical damage and pushing their victims back 15 meters.
Elder Tree
- Hit Points: 922,591
- Auto Attack Damage: 2,892 (physical)
- Piercing Roots: Thorny branches appear 8 times every 1.3 seconds and not only deal 1,250 physical damage, but also deal 375 damage over time for each hit.
- Horrid Roots: The Elder roots and damages the tank and nearby players. Each tick deals 1,000 magical damage for a total of 10 ticks. You can only stop this with the Interrupt skill.
Rock Giant
- Hit Points: 878,236
- Auto Attack Damage: Ranged attack, 3,750 physical damage to each victim.
- Earthquake: The Rock Giant stomps the ground, dealing 2,500 physical damage to everyone in a radius of 20 meters. Anyone within 10 meters of the Rock Giant takes an additional 6,250 damage.
- Stone Prison: All players with a ranged or magical weapon are completely stunned and take 500 damage every three seconds (for a maximum of 15 seconds). To free them, the stones must be destroyed.
- Giant Step: The Rock Giant steps on the primary tank. The target and all others within a radius of 3 meters take 2,500 physical damage and are pushed back 15 meters.
Gigantic Dryad
- Hit Points: 860,494
- Auto Attack Damage: 3,818 (physical)
- Devouring Swamp: Deals initially 2,500 magical damage and applies a lethal debuff to its target. For each charge of the debuff, speed is reduced by 20% for 20 seconds, 10% less threat is generated, and the debuff deals 250 damage per second for a total of 19 ticks.
- Pulsing Thorns: Thorns circle the Dryad, which silence the target for 15 seconds on hit and deal 1,250 magical damage every 3 seconds for a total of 6 ticks.
- Double Split: All players in front of the Dryad receive 2,500 magical damage.
Ore Colossus
- Hit Points: 895,978
- Auto Attack Damage: None
- Giant’s Strike: The Colossus slams its fist into the ground, dealing 3,800 physical damage to the tank. This also causes Crystal Resonance. This debuff pulls players closer to the tank for 4 ticks every 8 seconds. The Giant’s strike also has a 50% chance to summon a straight line of four exploding crystals, each explosion dealing 3,000 damage.
- Crystal Swarm: Each player within a radius of 30 meters around the Ore Colossus receives a crystal bomb. This explodes after 2.5 seconds, dealing 3,000 magical damage to the target and everyone within a 4-meter radius.
The MMORPG Albion Online officially launches on July 17.
