The sandbox MMO Albion Online can now be tested in Beta via iOS. The game is available for download for Beta testers and runs on iPads and possibly also on iPhones.
Albion Online is a cross-platform sandbox MMORPG that runs on Android devices in addition to computers. However, those who are fans of Apple’s iOS had to miss out on mobile fun with Albion Online until now. But soon these times will probably be over, as the developers at Sandbox Interactive have launched the Beta test of the iOS version of Albion Online.
Release of Beta Client for iPad & iPhone Version – Registration Possible
Those who own a founder or starter pack of Albion Online can register for the iOS Beta. Use the form linked here on the Albion Online homepage. The iOS version will have the same features and content as the PC version. You can test the iOS Beta on the Live Server with iPad and iPhone.
The iOS Beta of Albion Online is based on the Apple service “Testflight” and has a limited number of participants. It may happen that not all registered players will get a spot. So, make sure that your iOS device meets the necessary requirements.
The System Requirements for the iOS Beta of Albion Online
If you have an iOS tablet with at least a 7-inch screen size and 3 gigabytes of RAM, Albion Online should work flawlessly. The situation is different with smaller displays. There may be issues there as the interface is designed for the larger screen of the tablet. Devices with insufficient RAM may experience crashes.
