The sandbox MMORPG Albion Online launches on May 16 also via Steam. This is aimed at reaching more players to populate the sandbox world – and for the Steam release, the developers have also come up with special achievements.

Steam is an important platform for Albion Online. The development team has previously stated their intention to offer the MMORPG on Steam, but only when it has reached a status that the developers are satisfied with. And now it is time: From May 16, you can play the MMO also through Valve’s gaming platform.
What the Steam version offers
- Players who play through Steam can unlock special achievements over time
- If you already play Albion Online and want to use these achievements without having to play through Steam, they are also available through the regular client
- At launch, there will be 25 percent more fame for all activities for one week, such as gathering resources, crafting items, or fighting monsters
What is Albion Online
Sandbox with a focus on PvP. In Albion Online, you write your own story through your actions in the game world:
- You explore a large sandbox world
- You gather resources in dangerous areas where monsters dwell
- You craft your own items that you sell to other players
- The economy is entirely player-driven
- PvP is an important part, as player-versus-player combat can occur anywhere
- In the dangerous zones of the game world, there are territorial wars between guilds
- You can also complete quests that tell a story
