AION Tempest is currently in development as a mobile MMORPG, inspired by the well-known MMO AION
AION Tempest is not a mobile version of the MMORPG, but an independent game with a different story.
The developers have not revealed much about this spin-off yet.
A mobile war that you determine yourself
AION Tempest takes place about 900 years before the events of Aion and revolves around an ancient war between the Daevas and Balaur. This conflict is known as the Millennium War. Consequently, large battles are also at the center of the game.
The MMO aims to offer a unique feature: It does not dictate the battles you must fight.
You determine through cooperation and disputes where a battle breaks out. Players from the respective faction participate in it. The fights are conducted in real-time and, according to the first trailer for the mobile game, are quite fast-paced. In principle, any small skirmish can escalate into a massive war.
Stylish 3D graphics, but no release date yet
AION Tempest utilizes 3D graphics that look quite good for a mobile game. What classes are available, how the battles proceed, how you improve your hero, and what the situation is with skills and quests are all still unknown.
It is also not yet known when AION Tempest will be released. The MMO is being developed by NCSoft.
