In the MMORPG AION, a server merge is imminent. Since this cannot happen easily due to the faction conflicts in Aion, you should be careful. Otherwise, your character could disappear in AION. The German server Fergion will be merged with the server Thor – specifically on April 25. Thor will remain as the German server.
This is to allow for a denser population in the game world. Normally, characters are simply transferred to the new server during a server merge – but in MMORPG AION, it is a bit more complicated.
This is because players might have characters on both servers that belong to different factions. However, it is not possible in AION to play characters from different factions on one server.
Pay attention to your characters in Aion
Therefore, you must pay close attention. The character transfer requires your attention:
Where will the move take place and how does the transfer work?
- If you have characters from different factions on the servers Fergion and Thor, which are still in a faction conflict, you can play both until the conflict is resolved after the transfer. Then, you must choose one of the factions.
- If you want to move a character to the new server Thor, you must register the transfer by May 15 at the latest.
- If you do not register a character transfer, the move will be carried out automatically, but you will have no control over which hero is transferred where.
What restrictions are there?
- It is only possible to transfer a character from a faction affected by a faction conflict.
- If you have a character below level 9 and have not played it for a year or more, it will be deleted.
What about guilds and names?
- You may have to choose a new name if there is a conflict. The player with the higher level can keep the name. If both players have the same level, the one who is more active will keep the name. The “age” of the character is the third criterion.
- The same applies to the legions. They will be transferred to the new server, but there may be a name conflict.
What happens to the houses?
- Houses will not be transferred; however, players will receive compensation equal to twice the purchase price of the old house. For villas, estates, or palaces, you will also receive the item “Yasbas’ Favor (30 days)”.
So there are several things to consider when the servers in AION are merged and you want to transfer your hero.
As compensation for the inconveniences caused by the server merge, players will receive:

- Bloodlust (30 days)
- (Jakunerk) Almighty Enchantment Stone (3 days)
