This month, AION will receive a new patch. The war between the two player factions is gaining new momentum.
The battle between Elysea and Asmodae ignites once again
On April 27, 2016, the European version of AION will receive a new patch that rekindles the existing conflicts. In Update 4.91: “Battle for the Landings”, players will venture into the upper Abyss to expand their various fortresses and destroy those of the enemy.
The Elyos and Asmodians must reinforce their own fortresses, which can be done by accumulating reinforcement points available through numerous activities:
- Garrisons and artifacts must be captured. Some will unlock new quests afterwards.
- The fortresses of Krotan, Miren, and Kysis can be captured and then defended.
- Quest “casually” to also accumulate some points.
- Or directly attack the enemy players’ base!
In total, your base can be upgraded up to 8 times. This brings unique benefits, such as additional merchants, portals back to Balurea or to the capitals, as well as buffs and additional missions.
