Many exotic weapons have their particularities in Destiny 2. The cooler it is when weapons perfectly match your abilities and grant you bonuses. We at MeinMMO show you which weapon perfectly harmonizes with the Stasis super and whether this is the beginning of more.
Which weapon is meant? Agers Scepter is the piece in question. This exotic trace rifle can be obtained during the seasonal quest “A Hopeless Coronation.” With its exotic perk “Agers Call,” you can freeze all nearby enemies after a kill. This gives you a weapon that is perfect for add control.
But that’s not all. Players have discovered that this weapon perfectly harmonizes with the Stasis super. Could this also happen with your old Light classes?
Agers Scepter and the Stasis class harmonize together
This has only been somewhat present in Destiny 2 so far. This discovery could revolutionize the combat system. Since the dusty Light classes don’t allow this yet, it would be worthwhile to take a look at the new synergy first.
How do they work together? The Stasis super has many fragments and aspects that harmonize with the exotic trace rifle from the 15th season. For example, if you use the Iceflare Aspect, you can generate seekers with every destroyed Stasis crystal.
These seekers freeze all surrounding enemies, and when the crystals are destroyed again, more seekers appear that cause the same effect. Since only melee, grenade, or the Warlock’s super could freeze enemies, Agers Scepter is a very good addition in this regard. Now you can determine when your enemies should be frozen.
Could more Light classes follow? It’s possible. Bungie announced a rework of all light classes anyway. It could be conceivable that the Void class creates a black hole with a kill from Void, pulling everything in close proximity and dying from a final explosion, just like with the Lorentz Driver.
Many cool ideas can be gathered this way, and there remains plenty of room for one’s own imagination. Here Bungie also shows us that such synergies make the game more exciting.
What could be in store for you? With the impending war between Light and Darkness, it becomes clear that a wide range of abilities will be necessary to survive.
Bungie is creating a deepening of the game through such changes in Destiny 2, which also imposes certain basic requirements on the player. Without taking time to figure out which aspects and fragments are the right ones, you will be impossible to survive in the future.
I, for my part, am looking forward to such a change because I missed the Destiny 1 ability system. The synergy with weapons makes it even more delightful.
