In The Division 2, players have stumbled upon a hidden cult. We explain how you can find the Morovian Society yourself.
What have players discovered? Some attentive people in the Division community have noticed small wooden owl figures in the mission on Roosevelt Island.
After players have met certain conditions, they were able to interact with the owls. The owls open a hidden door and players can listen to a secret voice message.
The message tells about the “Morovian Society” and that “their plans have been set in motion.” Players suspect that this society is part of the many secrets of The Division 2.
How to get into the secret room? To reach the secret room, you must complete a series of steps in the correct order.
- Play the mission on Roosevelt Island in Invaded mode, regardless of the difficulty level
- To interact with the owls, you need to clear the last room and defeat the final boss
- You can now freely explore the mission area. It is circular, so you do not need to teleport back to the entrance.
Once this part of the puzzle is completed, the search for the owls begins. There are a total of seven of them, and there is a candle in front of each owl that you must light.
These candles must be lit in a specific order for the secret door to open. If you do everything correctly, their flame will be green. As soon as you make a mistake and light the wrong candle, the flame will turn red, and you will have to start over.
The candles must be lit in the following order:
- You will find the first owl near Emeline’s room. Before the tunnel that you normally jump into during the mission, go right to an open area. There you will find the owl.
- You will find the second owl after the room of the last boss. Just follow the path that leads you back to the entrance. The owl is on the left side there.
- The third owl is located quite early in the mission area. In the room with the crashed plane and a “This is our territory” sign. The owl is on the right side in front of the entrance to the tunnel formed by the plane.
- The fourth owl is directly to the right after you exit the tunnel that leads from Emeline’s room.
- Owl number five can be found in the initial area of the mission. There is a section with a wooden bridge. The owl is on the left side at the end of this bridge.
- The sixth owl can be found after the area with the burning hole in the ground and enemies throwing Molotov cocktails. There is a short green section afterward. You will find the owl on the left side, next to the body of a girl.
- The last owl comes shortly thereafter. In the area marked as “Camp Area E” on the signs. In the eastern section of the area, across from the “Crops” sign, you will find the owl.

The game allows you to explore a lot to activate all the owls in the correct order. Once that happens and you hear the call of an owl, return to Emeline’s room.
To the left of the first owl, there is a tunnel that leads to the secret room. Open the door, and you will enter a room with a large owl.
If you salute this owl now, the secret voice message will play.
What happens next? It is currently unknown how the puzzle of the Morovian Society continues, but players are busy searching for new clues.
It is suspected that the remaining members of the secret society now belong to the Outcasts. Therefore, it would make sense to initially scour all the Outcast areas and missions.
For now, players are still in the dark.
