NoWay was initially threatened outside his hotel after dinner by two men with a gun, which later turned out to be fake, and then attacked with a kitchen knife. The apparent target of the two criminals was his Rolex, which he eventually handed over to avoid further harm.
The two perpetrators were identified a few months after the crime and have since been convicted.
The perpetrators are facing prison time
What punishment are the perpetrators facing? NoWay reported in his stream on Twitch on May 29 that the perpetrators have indeed been caught. However, that is not all, as they are also said to have been convicted.
Both are reportedly set to receive a 2-year prison sentence each, plus one year on probation. Additionally, it is said that the perpetrators must pay 20,000 euros for the watch and as compensation for pain and suffering. Both perpetrators were convicted according to NoWay for bodily harm and armed robbery.
When asked in his chat whether he thinks he will see any of the money, he replied with a clear “Yes.” He reports that the regulations in France are different from those in Germany and that criminals must contribute to a fund which is paid out to the plaintiff in such cases. He also reports that he is already receiving monthly payments from this case.
