Under the title “PSA: Remember last year, do not get your hopes up,” players are warned to keep their hopes low regarding last year.
The creator explains in the text that one should lower their expectations. The more hyped one is, the greater the likelihood of disappointment. The post received over 700 upvotes and more than 270 comments after about a day.

When reading these comments, one must consider that this is just one group of people. Without wanting to attribute anything to the quoted users, there could be some who want to “retaliate against Blizzard” because the last BlizzCon in 2018 did not offer the hoped-for D4 announcement for Diablo fans.
Those who want to get hyped after the leaks regarding Diablo 4 and thus hope for a grand BlizzCon 2019 should feel free to do so. Those who prefer to take a skeptical approach can do that as well. There will always be a group of players who are totally against something, while another group is totally for it. Whether it will all be worth it, we will only see during Blizzard’s presentation.
