Marco from Nerdkultur highlights 3 aspects in a new video on his YouTube channel about how the special craftsmanship makes the film Oppenheimer a masterpiece by star director Christopher Nolan.
The blockbuster Oppenheimer represents a 3-hour montage. At first glance, it seems like scenes are randomly strung together. Only at the end does a coherent picture emerge for the viewer.
The way Nolan assembles this montage and uses special tools makes the blockbuster a unique cinematic experience, as Marco explains in his latest video on the YouTube channel Nerdkultur.

The film analyst explains what lies behind the switch between black-and-white and color sequences and how Christopher Nolan cleverly illustrates different perspectives through this.
Additionally, the director employs three different genres, so Oppenheimer goes beyond a simple biopic about the famous person.
Here you can find an opinion piece from our Moviepilot colleague about the massive blockbuster: I still live: The 180-minute excess Oppenheimer completely overwhelmed me and sent me home with a headache
Subsequently, Marco explains what the so-called feedlines are and how Nolan cleverly integrates them into his films to create iconic moments and provoke certain reactions in the surrounding characters.
Once you realize how cleverly Nolan weaves the montage about the possible end of the world together and into each other, you see Oppenheimer with different eyes: as a masterpiece that stands on par with Nolan’s war film Dunkirk.
